I love this idea but I tried to shave the crayons with a pencil sharpener-zzzzzzzzzzzzzz gave up. Anyone know of an easier way to shave the crayons?
Thanks in advance.

Naomi, try shaving the crayons with a sharp pen knife. If you’re careful it’s much faster and probably more effective.

Jacqui,
LOL…too funny about being from Edmonton. I have lovely memories of Edmonton-a really good friend lived there and when I visited, I was treated like a queen. Since then she has moved to Mississauga where I am…..My cousin also moved to Wellington after meeting a wonderful man in Australia.
Thanks for the advice about the shavings. You rock.
