Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I spent the last few days relaxing and flipping through two fabulously creative publications from Stampington & Company, including the brand new GreenCraft magazine. I'm so excited about this one! Some of my favorite creative people have come together to create a magazine full of stylish recycled projects that are totally on trend- gorgeous, giftable and RECYCLED!
Stuffed features playful and quirky stuffed creatures to inspire new and veteran softie artists.
GreenCraft provides ways to repurpose materials that would otherwise be thrown away. You've gotta love that. And I love that Stampington has provided TWO copies of the introductory issue of GreenCraft and TWO copies of STUFFED magazine Volume 2 for One Pretty Thing readers. I am extremely excited about the GreenCraft! I’d much rather use what I have on hand then spend money and resources on purchasing craft materials. As for Stuffed, I am just started a softie addiction, so it is perfect timing. I’d be happy to read both of these and hopefully subscribe myself

My first choice would be GreenCraft. My mother taught me to recycle as a child. It wasn’t until I was older that I realized it wasn’t so much her being “green” as it was not having money for new things. It’s something my children and I enjoy doing now.

Oh my goodness! How could I possibly choose? I’d love GreenCraft for obvious reasons – it’s so important to upcycle and reuse. And S’tuffed because I’m putting together Christmas gift ideas, and stuffies are definitely on the list for the kiddos! Thanks for such a great contest!

Green Craft would be great for days when you have these neat items, but no idea to go with it. Plus, if you are broke and Jo Ann’s is just too pricey, this is a quick and cheap fix to satisfy that need to be crafty!

The Greencraft magazine, my numero uno choice, fits right in with what I try to live – and blog about on my green blog. I have just begun sewing green and recycled projects – and this would be a fantastic resource to help me on my journey.

Stampington really does put out some great publications. I looove projects that involve all things recycled and repurposed so GreenCraft would be a definite first choice, but Stuffed would be a very close second, as I love to see the soft, clever creations people come up with and it may just inspire me to give it a try someday.

I have been looking for recycled projects to do for so so long!! I have only found one book that has a few recycled christmas projects, but I have been searching for more ideas! I thumbed thru this at the bookstore. I couldn’t afford to buy it. So I drooled over the pages and enjoyed the ideas. Some I have seen on sites like Instructables, but some of the ideas and techniques have been refined and provide a ton of inspiration.
I have always looked for greening projects and think this is a very cool idea.

I would love a copy of Stuffed, and even though I already own it, I wouldn’t turn down a copy of GreenCraft either. ( I know someone who would love to get it as a gift. ) So my choices are: #1) Stuffed and #2) GreenCraft. I’m crossing my fingers!

I just started a home daycare so Greencraft would be fabulous so I can keep on crafting with my limited budget but Stuffed also looks very interesting too.

I’ve been visiting your site for a few weeks now… oh yeahhhhh, I’m hooked. You have so much to share – and thank you for that! Now for the decision… hmmm, decisions, decisions. I believe I would choose the Green Craft as my first choice, then Stuffed. Ooooh!!! I think my first choice would be Green Craft. I already re use all kinds of stuff around my house, but mostly because I hate to spend money on anything other than fabric hehe Stuffed is awesome too, they are almost neck and neck, but I really like making stuff out of “trash”, so YAY!

I have just found the “oneprettything” site, and I’m just loving all the inspiration it is giving us. I am a crafter, and my granddaughter wants to grow up to be an artist….I Love it! I Think both magazines have some wonderful ideas, but I think the GreenCraft magazine looks like it is right up my alley. I also love to go junking too! Thanks again for all the ideas…..A wife, mother, and grandmother! (parenting is a little like being pecked to death by ducks…LOL…Amen)

I would Love to get my hands on the Green Craft. As a mommy of three I have to find ways to stretch my budget and use all of my supplies / stuff in artsy or creative ways. I must say from your site I have loved looking at all of your kids crafts things… plus everything else. My fave green kid style craft that I have seen here has to be Wall-e created by the brilliant mama who used everything before it went to the recycle bin!!! LOvED it. Showed it to hubby and anyone who would look.
