Good morning! I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend filled with crafty projects! To get this week started off on the right DIY foot, I wanted to share an inspirational completed project with you.

One Pretty Thing reader Donica from CA, finished the "flowering umbrella stand" project, and she sent pictures to share! This tutorial originally came to us via Apartment Therapy.

This project went up Friday and Sunday afternoon the pictures were in my mailbox. Talk about fast! I love that she used a wine barrel for this project (keeps costs down!) and succulents, which require less water and maintenance. It looks fantastic! Love the colors against that red fence too. Great job Donica, thanks so much for sharing!

If you've done a project you've seen on One Pretty Thing, upload it to the One Pretty Thing Flickr group!
